Inform | Kindergarten Registration 2026–27
Kindergarten registration for the 2026–27 school year opens on Monday, January 12, 2026.
Children may be registered for Kindergarten if they turn five years old on or before December 31, 2026.
Early registration helps the school plan effectively for the upcoming year. Families with older children in Grades 1–6 are encouraged to register eligible Kindergarten students as early as possible.
Additional registration information is available on the public CBE Registration page.
Open House Information
Many schools across CBE hold Open Houses for interested families early in the school year. This can be of particular interest for students transitioning from Grade 6 to Grade 7. Please follow the link for all open house information across CBE. As Harold Panabaker School is the designated CBE School for Woodlands’ students grades 7-9, we have included a link to their Open House page. If you have an interest in an alternative program in CBE, please note the date to submit an expression of interest form.
School Council | Healthy Hunger Fun Lunches
Woodlands School Council organizes fun lunches using the Healthy Hunger platform. Orders must be placed at least five days in advance.
If your child is absent on a fun lunch day, lunches can be picked up if the school is contacted before lunchtime. Otherwise, the lunch will be donated or discarded.
Upcoming Fun Lunches:
- Wednesday, February 18 – Coco Brooks Pizza
- Wednesday, March 18 – McDonald’s
- Wednesday, April 22 – Taco Time
- Wednesday, May 20 – Little Caesars
Fee Reminder
As students begin attending field trips, families are reminded to regularly check MyCBE for posted fees. Paying fees promptly helps avoid surprises later in the school year.
