Recess

The Grade 1 - 6 students go outside for morning recess and during the lunch time to play, socialize and have exercise. Students are asked to be prepared for changing weather with proper coats, hats, mittens, umbrellas, etc. We have flex recess with classrooms each day and lunch recess in the afternoon. In the rare event of inclement weather, students will have their breaks inside.

Office

• We ask that you do not phone the school to speak to your child or to have messages relayed to your child in the classroom unless it is an emergency.
• Please make lunch and after school arrangements with your child before they leave in the morning and communicate via email with your child's teacher regarding any alternative plans for pickup. These calls are disruptive to the classrooms see our attendance page for further information.

Teachers

• Messages: can be sent via email at the beginning of the day. Please don’t send an urgent email at the end the day, as teachers are teaching and not checking their email.
• Appointments: can be made in advance for a mutually agreed time and day via email.
