Share | TRC Commitment to Action 2025-26
In recent years, the CBE has requested each school to consider the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s 94 calls to action and make a plan to commit to advance the process of reconciliation. This year, our commitment focused on building cultural respect and understanding by learning from Elders and Knowledge Keepers, learning on the land in adjacent Fish Creek Park and using circles for meaningful discussions in class. In asking staff and students to review our school experiences this year and look toward next year, their request was to build on the actions of our existing commitment and continue our learning in these areas. With some minor adjustments from last year, we are pleased to share our renewed Commitment to Truth and Reconciliation for the 2025-26 school year.
We invite you to read the Truth and Reconciliation Commitment and to talk to your child about their experiences this school year. If you or someone you know has a close connection to advancing reconciliation that you would like to share, we invite you to contact the school.
